My favourite scooter has allways been a Lambretta GP and particularly the style of the AF Rayspeed S Type  . This scoot was customised from the bright green TS1 225 'Trojan In Motion' to the AF replica style that you see below . The black and gold paintwork being applied by Sean Burns from over Yorkshire way , with a good few litres of laquer being sprayed  to try and flat off the finish after the metal flake being applied .

The quality and thickness of the paint was evident when the scoot was crashed in France when a onion muncher pulled out on Steve and Michelle whilst traveling down to 2006 Euro Lambretta . Whilst the legshields etc were badly bent it was with surprise that Steve found that none of the paint had peeled off , either that or it was the effect of Michelle's leg softening the impact with the car that had saved the paint job !

It took some weeks to recover the bike from France and Sean is busy restoring the panelwork and paint ready for the 2007 Rally season - hopefully it will make it to this years Euro rally without event .

Oh by the way , Steve never lets anyone into his scooter shed - and you thught it was because he had some special project underway .......naa.....it's just he's a messy bugger !
